The Universe Conspires to Support the Dreamer

July 1st — 8th
In this workshop you will 'see' your vision with your eyes, your heart, your soul and your spirit. In a playful environment we will create our own images, listen deeply to our true calling and step into a juicy future. Dare to dream a world bigger and bolder than you could have ever imagined. You can live the life you dream of, where abundance and miracles are the norm. Living up to our full potential means recognizing, embracing, and integrating our spiritual nature in all aspects of our lives. Using symbols that represent the sacred in our dreaming and visioning can lead to a reality that we wouldnÕt have been able to otherwise reach. In the company of other wild and creative women on a similar path, each day will start on the beach with movement and reflection. We will have morning experiential sessions with evening ritual and celebrations. In the afternoons you are free to explore, swim, relax, recreate on your own. Energy healing, tarot readings & bodywork will be available in the afternoons on request.

This Workshop is a wonderful opportunity to make a deeper connection with the Land in Lesvos, and to learn more about the ancient Earth Mother honoured and celebrated on the Greek islands. Lesvos is a very magical and spiritually powerful Greek isle, the birthplace of the poetess Sappho, and before her one of the islands where the Goddess Hera was especially celebrated. Despite 2000 years of patriarchy, the land here is still very much alive and sacred, and this workshop aims to connect us with that Land and celebrate the Goddess energy there. It will include gentle walks to some of the special places in and around the village, with plenty of opportunities for meditations, immersion in the beautiful Aegean sea, and ceremonies to honour the Goddess of the Land.

Facilitator: Cheryl Straffon is the author of several books including ÒThe Earth GoddessÓ and ÒPagan Cornwall: Land of the GoddessÓ and she co-edits the magazine Goddess Alive! She is a knowledgeable Greekophil, having visited and stayed on about 20 different islands and is at present working on a book on Sacred Landscapes, including Greece. She has facilitated at the International Goddess Conference in Santa Cruz, California and in Glastonbury. She is experienced in leading Guided Walks to sacred sites in Cornwall, Malta, etc. back

'Dru - means the still point within'

July 22nd — 29th
Treat your body to a gorgeous yummy week of Dru Yoga : it is a gentle form of yoga which is excellent for combating the stresses of the life and becoming reacquainted with your beautiful body. Its unique Energy Block Release sequences and a soft approach to postures means it is suitable for a wide variety of people, young or old, fit or unfit ! You will learn lovely sequences that are easy to learn and take back home with you. This form of yoga assists in rebalancing the physical, emotional and energetic body. It uses many unique sequences - mudras - and affirmations - to bring balance and vitality and create a connection with that still point within. In our week retreat we will include meditation and relaxation techniques - energy block release sequences, and pranayama (Breathing Techniques).

Faciliated by Sylvia Barrington Sylvia has been inspiring women with Dru Yoga classes for over thirteen years. She is a senior tutor on the Dru Yoga teacher training course. Her gentle powerful style and her sense of humour and love of yoga and teaching shines through She is involved in research into the effects of Dru yoga on people with heart conditions and chronic back pain.
