This
is an introductory course for anyone interested in teaching adults in
a variety of situations, in work or in the community, on a one to one
basis, or working with groups. The course is very practical and interactive,
using groupwork, discussion, home study and teaching within the group.
You will need to be competent in your teaching subject and to have sufficient
written communication skills to produce good quality learning materials.

You will learn: to plan, deliver and evaluate a training session to apply your skills and knowledge in a chosen setting to develop effective communication and IT skills for teaching and training |

| Qualification | ||||
| Accreditation is in two parts - 3 Merseyside Open College credits at level 3 for An Introduction to Teaching Adults and 5 credits at level skills for Key Skills. | ||||

Trainees from previous courses have gone on to employment as trainers or in jobs needing training skills; City and Guilds 7307; Assessor and Verifier awards, D32,33,34 etc |
