Time and Work Management
(1 day)
This one day course aims to provide a heightened awareness of the manager/ supervisors personal use of work time and of the organisation and planning of employees work. Participants will examine some time management techniques. The course would benefit committee representatives also.
Effective Staff Management
(2 days)
Improve your skills in managing/supervising full-time and part time staff and volunteers. This two day course covers job evaluation and role definition, self assessment, personal qualities and values, self-management, goal setting, planning and organising, understanding motivation, problem solving and decision making. This course would benefit anyone who has a leadership function.
Handling Volunteers
(2 days)
This two day course explores the advantages of working with volunteers and emphasises their importance in organisations. Many organisations would not reach their targets without volunteers and their contribution. For managers/ leaders the job of building and maintaining the team is challenging enough when working with paid staff. There may be additional challenges when success depends upon effectively managing volunteers and their contributions.
Team Building, Working and Maintenance Courses
(3 Days)

 

This cluster of courses should be viewed as being progressive with all team members attending all 3 days. Organisations are only as successful as their teams of staff. It pays to invest in team building, team working and team maintenance activities.

Team Building(1Day)

Teams will look at team goals, individual roles, motivation stratagies and work through a series of exercises, projects and games.

Team Working (1 Day)

This day will build on day 1. Teams will be encouraged to bring them projects and challenges which they are facing.

Team Maintanence (1 Day)

This day will build on days 1 and 2. Teams will look at valuing their own performance and that of others in the team in order to develop and release the full potential of the team. This will result in success for the team and the individual team member. 10 The day will be delivered through a series of appropriate exercises, and games and it is envisaged that the specified team project, which formed the core of the work in day 2, will be progressed and consolidated.

 

Managing Relationships and Conflict
(2 days)
Improve your working relationships by practicing and developing important people skills. This two-day course looks at dealing with conflict more openly and constructively, improving relationships and handling personal differences. It examines management behaviour, attitudes and skills and gives time to practice skills aimed to develop more meaningful relationships with team members and senior management
