This course is designed for people returning to work or training, particularly those interested in working in their community on a paid or voluntary basis. It will provide you with increased confidence and a good background for community work, further education or employment. |

You will learn to: Improve your communication and presentation skills; Develop team working skills; Learn techniques for time and stress management; Produce a report on your local community; Produce a printed CV and personal portfolio you can update in future; Develop job application and interview skills; Produce an action plan for future development. |

| Progression Routes | ||||
| Trainees from previous courses have gone on to voluntary work in the community, higher level training programmes, employment and self employment. | ||||
